Acrylic Water Based Roadline Paint


BENZi H2O ROADLINE PAINT 7000 is a modified acrylic water-based paint specially formulated for good opacity, excellent adhesion and outdoor durability. It is used as traffic line marking for safety purpose for concrete surfaces. It is recommended for both interior and exterior line marking in areas such as car park bay, factory warehousing lot, traffic road, road curb and etc.

Surface Preparation

New and Bare Concrete Surface: Ensure the surface to be painted is clean, dry and free from dirt, oil, grease and other contaminations. New surface must be allowed to dry thoroughly at least 21 days prior painting. Avoid painting where surface is high in moisture content or during wet weather  (Recommended painting specification requires moisture content of the substrate to be below 16% as measured by protimeter and alkalinity of the substrate below pH9).

Previously Painted Concrete Surface: Remove all loose paint films, powdery residues, algae and fungus, by brushing or scraping with a stiff fibre brush under running water or by using high pressure water jet. Ensure the surface is thoroughly dried, free from dirt, dust, grease and other contaminants prior painting.
 

Color :  Assorted colors, refer BENZi High Performance Coating color card
Film Finish :  Low Sheen (available in reflective and non-reflective type for choice)
Touch Dry :  30 minutes (depends on temperature and humidity)
Recoating Interval :  Minimum 2 hours
Solid Content :  50% (by weight); 40% (by volume)
Dry Film Thickness :  25 - 30 microns / coat
Theoretical Coverage :  13 - 16 m² / litre / coat (actual coverage is dependent on loss factors)
No. of Coat :  Minimum 2 coats
Application :  Brush or roller
Thinning :  Use clean water, dilute up to 5% of water if necessary
Cleaning Up :  Clean all paint equipment with water immediately after use



Safety, Health & Environment

Ensure good ventilation during painting, do not breathe vapour or spray mist. Keep doors and windows open during application and drying. It is advisable to wear mask and eyes protector while applying. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice. In case of accidental ingestion, DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING, seek immediate medical advice. To remove splashes of paint from skin by using water and soap or skin care product. Do not empty paint into drains or water courses, dispose of any paint waste in accordance with the appropriate Environmental Quality Regulations.
